Whenever I return from a trip or trek that I absolutely cherished, I make it a point to write it down. I want to create a vivid word picture that I can revisit months or even years later, reliving the beauty of the moment. That’s how I’ve tried to remember my adventures in Varanasi, Antargange Caves, Munnar, and Goa.

This blog will primarily focus on that perspective, so I can come back to these memories years from now. I’ll share the enchanting field of flowers at the Valley of Flowers, the profound peace I felt at Hemkund Sahib, the emotional tears I shed when I saw Hemkund, and the fascinating stories I collected from my fellow trekkers along the way.

Day 1, The trip begins with a long Traveller ride from Rishikesh to the base camp at Karchi

Our adventure began at the Live Free Hostel in Rishikesh around 5 a.m. We were greeted by fellow trekkers already settled in, and some came from nearby hostels. The long journey to the base camp was about to start.
